History of the Club

The North West Golden Retriever Club was founded in January 1981, with Ivy Osbourne as the first Secretary and Pixy Wills as Treasurer. Jan Robinson took over as Secretary in 1982. The first Championship show was held in April 1986.

In 2000, following the resignation of Jan Robinson, a new committee was elected and over the last 7 years this committee has worked really hard to make a success of the club. We hope it is now something that the members are proud to be part of.

Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and North Wales.
